Lori Dorfman has worked for the last 20 years to build a dynamic and powerful career as an artist. She is a musician, poet, and actor. Recently, her poetry was published in Griffel Literary Magazine, Luna Arcana Arts & Culture Magazine, and has a forthcoming publication in Direct Object. Her Self Portrait photography was published in The Evocations Review. As an actor, she has worked with Sebastian Lelio, Aaron Sorkin, Paul Thomas Anderson, and so many more. Jonah A. Blander is an emerging storyteller and narrator from Montréal, Québec who works with different artistic mediums. He has created pieces that fall within the confines of playwriting, oral storytelling, screenwriting, poetry, prose, and non-fiction. He has honed his skills in the Theatre and Creative Writing departments at Toronto's Glendon College and York University. Andrea Cobham is a UK based Voice Artist, Screenwriter and Champion tea drinker. Kapilioha is queer, Native Hawaiian, and based in Los Angeles. You can trust him with the aux in any passenger seat and he made his debut with 'Ego' in Passengers Journal. He'll join Saint Mary's College for their MFA in Creative Writing in the Fall of 2022 after a much-needed break from anything turbulent in the upcoming year. Tuscaloosa-based poet Joshua Baker is a Huntsville native and MSW graduate from Alabama A&M University. His passions lie in minority mental health and LGBTQIA+ advocacy. He has had the opportunity to feature at Out Loud HSV and perform at 100 Thousand Poets for Change Birmingham. He has had work published in Out Loud! HSV: A Year in Review (2016-2019), Aura Literary Arts Review, and Hypertrophic Press. Baker was a member of Out Loud HSV's 2018 Poetry Slam Team and has led various poetry workshops rooted in harnessing the power that lies in our Joy, our identity, and our immutable truths. In 2020, Baker was selected as the Editor’s Choice Winner for the Button Poetry Video Contest. Baker has also self-published two poetry chapbooks entitled This Here Side of Creation (2018) and Love Poems & Other Ways to Lose A Poetry Slam (2018). He lives. He loves. He tells stories. Graphic designer and illustrator Sam Mitchell is now located in Huntsville, Alabama. Sam received his BFA in Design from the University of Georgia to formalize his interest in commercial art and has been working in the field of Graphic Design ever since. When he’s not binging Netflix, listening to Hall & Oates, or obsessing over his toy collection, he also likes to tell stories. Sam is host and co-founder of Tin Can Stories and a proud member of Out Loud HSV. He has been featured at Write Club ATL, Tenx9 Nashville, the Princess Theater: Center for Performing Arts, and at The Flying Monkey Arts Theater. Originally from Raleigh, North Carolina, Maeghan Mary Suzik is a New York City-based actor, poet, and arts/mental health activist who graduated from NYU Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in acting and creative writing. Her poetry was just displayed through The Hickory Playground’s virtual Quarantine Diaries as well as through art’s activism initiatives with conglomerates like ASTEP, IHRAF, and the NYU Diversity Arts Festival. Some recent publications include The Minetta Review, What Rough Best through Indolent Press, Oakland Arts Review, Catfish Creek, The Rational Creature Magazine, and October Hill Magazine.

Samantha Barriento is enjoying her new experience with voiceover work aside from her usual role in Disney’s The Lion King Rafiki Tour. She is from Queens, NY, and has performed with Ailey II, Step One Dance Company on Holland America Cruise Line, and was a featured artist with BESE Media Company.

Christin Byrdsong was born in Los Angeles, CA, and resides in New York City. He is a graduate of OKCU where he studied with Dr. Florence Birdwell and Dr. William Christensen. Sasha Caicedo
Sasha Caicedo is first generation Colombian-American. She studied for both high school and college at New World School of the Arts in Miami, Florida. Now a Broadway performer, she is a professional dancer, singer, model, and voiceover actress. She very much enjoys bringing other artists’ work to life, whether that be through reading poetry or performing on stage. Sasha has had the opportunity of dancing on many stages and continues to travel with The Lion King.

Kayla Cyphers is a Southern California native who attained her BFA from AMDA LA. Kayla has previously appeared in The New York Engagement of Bat Out Of Hell and she is currently on The North American Tour of The Lion King as “Nala”.
Scarlett London Diviney
Scarlett London Diviney is 10 years old and can be seen as Young Nala in the Broadway National Tour of the Lion King. Scarlett also appeared at the Tribeca Film Festival in the film CUPIDS, a part of the 8:46 project meant to widen the screen for diversity. Other stage credits include Annie and Fame Jr. She is also a concert singer who most recently performed with Dionne Warwick for the Bergen Performing Arts Center Gala. She is the Co-Founder of Voices to End Hunger, an organization that has raised thousands of dollars and supported New Yorkers suffering from food insecurity in NYC. Most importantly she loves to be with her friends and family.
Tony Freeman
When not in recording booths, Tony Freeman can be seen on tour in "The Lion King.” He's performed on “Law and Order” (twice) and played Dr. Crespo on “Law and Order, SVU.” Tony won a Barrymore Award for “Merrily We Roll Along” and has been nominated for three other Barrymore Awards.
Jane King
An Atlanta native, Jane King’s first professional credit was in Kenny Leon's True Colors Theater Company production of The Wiz. After high school, Jane moved to NYC to study at The Ailey School in their Fellowship program. There, she took the opportunity to perform with The Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, I HEARD New York, and various performances at The Apollo Theater. Ms. King enjoyed sharing the stage in Lustig Dance Theatre, The Princeton Festival, The ZEST Collective, The Metropolitan Opera, and currently, The Lion King North American Tour. She is excited to extend her voiceover career.
Matthew Morgan
Matthew Morgan can be seen on stage with both the touring and Broadway productions of Disney’s The Lion King. Other stage appearances include Seaweed in Hairspray (Toronto/Broadway) and also as Chuck Berry and Screaming Jay Hawkins in the upcoming Rock and Roll Man.
Jeremy Noel
Jeremy Noel hails from Bucks County, Pennsylvania, just outside of Philadelphia. He graduated from Ithaca College in 2021. He is currently in the cast of the Lion King National Tour(ensemble/Simba U/S) and has enjoyed recording all types of material including poems for Passengers Journal.
Christina Pendleton
Christina was born in Taegu, South Korea. She attended the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill on a classical piano performance scholarship. While Christina maintains a passion for music, she chose a career in law. She currently splits her time operating a law practice with her husband in Richmond, VA, and touring with her oldest son, Jordan, who plays Young Simba for Disney’s national touring production of The Lion King.

Colette Samman
Colette Samman is a Deputy Commissioner with the City of New York. Colette is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience working with immigrant, homeless, and formerly incarcerated New Yorkers. Throughout her career, she has fought for social justice and most recently led the launch of IDNYC, the nation's largest municipal identification card. Colette taught at Hunter College School of Social Work prior to joining Columbia University as a Faculty Advisor in the School of Social Work. However, these days she is mostly known as Scarlett and Hudson's mom.

Courtney Thomas
Courtney Thomas is an Atlanta, GA-based dancer who is currently on tour with Disney’s The Lion King National Tour. He has danced for the tour for 6 years and has understudied the role of Ed for 3. Before dancing for Lion Ling, he studied dance and theatre in Paris, Italy, and other parts of Europe. He continues his growth in the arts by learning voice acting.
Diamond Essence White
Diamond Essence White is an actor and singer from New York City. She graduated with her BFA in Acting from LIU Post and has worked professionally in Theater and Film since then. She is thrilled to be on this project and thanks Brady for the opportunity to use her voice in a very different way.
Frank Wright II
Frank Wright II is incredibly proud to be part of Baseline Theatrical. His Credits include ACM for Once On This Island Revival and Plaza Suite with Matthew Broderick and Sarah Jessica Parker. Management Assistant on the Pretty Woman National tour and Macbeth with Daniel Craig and Ruth Negga. Prior to becoming a company manager, Frank enjoyed over 20 years as an original Broadway cast member of The Lion King as well as a cast member of the original Miss Saigon. At Passengers, we are seeking enthusiastic readers who want to be involved with sculpting our quarterly issues, from reading and voting on submissions to working with authors on pre-publication revisions.
We are also seeking narrators/voice actors who are able to offer a wide variety of accents and dialects to the pieces of poetry and prose that we publish.
In short, we are desperate to diversify our reading and voice talent. All of our readers, narrators, and editors donate their time and effort. We are publishing pieces that are compelling and important; we'd love for you to be a part of that.
